Process Features
Butyl rubber (butyl sealant, butyl tape feedstock) is extremely tacky - one of the most challenging materials for kneaders. Gravity discharge is impossible, and even tilting discharge is incomplete; screw forced extrusion is required.

- Oxidation protection: full vacuum kneading avoids thermal-oxidative aging
- Discharge: screw extrusion with simultaneous deaeration, no residue
